Microsoft recently announced that the game brought in $170 million in day-one sales in its opening day in the US. Analyst Colin Sebastian with Lazard Capital Markets forecast unit shipments of 4.5 million through October.Microsoft also said in a press release that Xbox 360 hardware sales have nearly doubled on a worldwide basis since the release of Halo 3 on September 25
Man, that is a lot of money. What do you guys think? Does Halo 3 deserve all that love? Or will the hype fade once other games come out? Time will tell, like it usually does.
