Sad faces all around. As our good friend and man-crush Matt Chandronait has come down with the Area 5 death plague, we’re going to be postponing episode 3 until next week. Sorry for the late notice, but, well, a week long break at least once during Game Club is sort of tradition at this point.
Oh well. I unfortunately stopped playing Hitman Blood Money. As I play it for the PC, the control issues are to much of a pain to be successful in that game. Might I suggest for the next game club Rainbow six Vegas or RSV2. Anyway I hope Matt lives through this plague and keep up the good work.

Might I suggest NFS Carbon for our next game? It’s broken up into 4 areas so 4 game clubs would be easy. It also has many different ways to actually play the game, different cars, different class of cars, different ways to tune the cars, different races you can complete and still beat the game. Anyway, I think it would be a lot of fun and a bit of a “change up” for game club.

Is that just a way to say “Something we don’t wanna tell you about makes us unable from making a Game Club this week”, or is Matt really sick? Either way, this makes me sad.
In the meantime, I have a tip for Matt, Tyler, and anyone else playing on the PC that will help with elevators: oftentimes, you’ll be standing somewhere and have multiple things that your use key can do (e.g. Open Elevator, 1st Floor, Drag Body). You’ll know this is the case if you see a subtle little down arrow by the thing. To access the non-selected items, hold the use button until a list shows up. Select the thing you want with the mousewheel and then release the button. Presto! Elevators don’t suck anymore!
You know what, homie? DualReaver is not pleased. Not pleased. At all. Matt is no longer my favourite.

As for Hitman, this is the first game I haven’t played along with you guys. I don’t often run across games that frustrate me like Blood Money did. guess it’s just not for me.

Disappointing to be sure, but it is a holiday weekend so I suppose you guys deserve a break to get in some good gaming and not have to worry about recording podcasts. Happy early 4th everybody.

For people having trouble with the controls in Hitman for the PC just use pinnacle game profiler. It is a program that maps the keys to the gamepad of your choice. You can get a 30 day free trial or buy it for $20. You just select your game, then it downloads the profile for your controller. I use the 360 pad and it plays just fine.

That’s good to know. I was bummed that the Game Club was postponed but I would rather that be done than go on without Matt. He’s a great addition to both shows. Great to hear that he’s feeling better. And even though Hitman didn’t make a good first impression on me, I think I’m enjoying it more than Gun, so thanks Arthur.

i really dont know about this choice for game club. too much trial and error while im playing, and eventually had to quit. bought the trilogy through rebel fm’s amazon link. i guess it’s one of those games that i have to retire on my shelf.
by in no means am i saying im not going to listen to the next game club episode. but to be honest,i enjoy you guys talking about hit man 10 times more than i actually like playing it.

I can’t help thinking one of the halflife 1 expansion packs (blue shift or opposing force or maybe both) would be good for a game club everyone who has a pc has played hl but not many the expansions….
