Rebel FM Episode 42 Pre-Show Question: Games of the Year

December 3rd, 2009 by Aegies

No screwing around anymore. Now that December is upon us, the biggest releases are out, and we’re ready to start the process of elimination for game of the year contention. Here’s what we want: give us three (3) games that you feel deserve consideration. And more specifically, make a stretch; don’t try to nominate the most obvious choices if enough people already have. We want to consider a lot of games before we callously ignore your opinions (kidding!). Get them in by 6:30 PM PST tonight!

Rebel FM Episode 41 Pre-show Question: What’s your bummer of 2009

November 18th, 2009 by Aegies

With the closure of Pandemic earlier this week, it’s just another reminder of how many low moments the game industry has had in 2009. With that in mind, we want to talk about what your most disappointing moment of the year so far was. Try to stick to games, since, you know, this is theoretically a gaming (penis) podcast. Comment by 6:30 PM PST for consideration for this week’s show.

Rebel FM Episode 28 Pre-show questions: Delays and Design

August 5th, 2009 by Aegies

Greetings all. We got some great submissions on twitter today, but could only pick a couple of topics. That being said, here we go.

Question 1: Name one game you feel will benefit from its delay from this fall to next year, and one game that’s going to be screwed, and tell us why for both.

Question 2: What do you think makes for good game design? Try to emphasize good, rather than bad!

We’ll be taking comments until around 6:30 PDT today, so get a move on.

Rebel FM Episode 23 Pre-show question: What games have surprised you (in a good way)?

July 1st, 2009 by Aegies

I know for many of us and our friends in the media community, this has been a year of surprises (which I’m sure is obvious if you’ve been paying any attention to our Red Faction: Guerrilla boners of late). So we thought we’d ask you what games over the last few years have really surprised you positively? Whether they were games you’d never heard of that you loved, or games you thought you’d hate that you adore, let us know by this afternoon at 6:00 PM PDT.
